Now the Lord had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Genesis 12:1-3

The nation of Israel are God’s people. He established them through Abraham and has continued to fulfill His promises to them. He promised that He would scatter them and bring them back to their land: For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Ezekiel 36:24. We have seen God fulfill that promise! God told Abraham that he would be the father of a nation that is great, supreme, and above all others. Israel will surely hold this position when Jesus comes back!

However, the devil has other plans for Israel. The Bible says there is an ancient hatred for the Jewish people. And that hatred stems from the devil’s hatred and fear of the Messiah coming from the line of the Jewish people. The devil will try everything to thwart God’s plans.

How can you support Israel and God’s plan for His people? Pray. Align your heart, mind, and expectations with God’s plans and promises and know that He will fulfill them!
