“And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”
Romans 8:11

When Jesus died on the cross and defeated the enemy, His people were redeemed and placed in authority with power. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you! This is what the Bible says about followers of Jesus, but is this how you see yourself? Take care to align your thoughts with what God says about you.

When we are able to see ourselves as God sees us, we also need to see others in the same way. We are not supposed to see people the way that the world does – as objects, commodities, or obstacles – but as God does. It can be easy to only look at someone’s past or circumstances instead of recognizing that in Christ they are a new creation and full of resurrection power!

God sees the power that He has put in His children even when we do not. He can resurrect areas of our lives that seem unusable, dry, or even dead. Notice how God finds Moses in the desert, Job in his suffering, Daniel in a lion’s den, and Lazarus in the grave. Even though they seemed to be in impossible situations, God brought them into His plan for their lives.

Grab ahold of the resurrection power that Jesus purchased for you because God wants to bless you now! Do not wait for tomorrow or someday in the future, but ask God to show you the power and value that He sees in you today.
