The Hebrew definition for wisdom is ‘skill for living’. Often we think that God will simply make us prosperous and we can sit back to watch it happen. However, the Bible says God will give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding as you meditate in his Word. This tells us that we need to play an active part in order to gain the wisdom and knowledge that He wants to gives us.
