Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12

The Bible does not promise an easy life with Christ, but it does promise that God will be with you offering guidance, comfort, healing, and wisdom. He has also offered you authority in this world as a believer. Your words have power. Think about how the world was created: God said “Let there be light.” We know that life and death are in the power of the tongue, and when we speak words of faith, we are partnering with God to see His will come to pass.

In 2 Corinthians 4:13-14, we read, And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. When the Bible refers to the “spirit of faith,” it is referring to something that is available to all believers. The faith and power that was available to David and the Apostle Paul is also available to you!

Faith requires action on your part. If your faith does not first move your mouth, it will never move your mountain. Mark 11:23 says, For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Your mountain responds to your words.

Fight the good fight of faith by planting seeds of faith in your heart. Begin by speaking God’s promises over your life, and watch as those mountains are thrown into the sea!
