Faith, Authority, and Inheritance

Duane Vander Klok

Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:13-14

Faith in Jesus Christ is more than just a belief; it is the key to living a victorious Christian life. In fact, faith is what opens the door to a spiritual inheritance beyond compare. When we put our faith in Him and call on His name, we tap into all of His power and authority.

This authority is part of our inheritance as children of God. Paul reminds us, In Him also we have obtained an inheritance (Ephesians 1:11). This inheritance is not just for eternity; it impacts our daily lives here and now. It equips us to pray boldly and declare God’s promises over our situations.

When trials arise, remember the power of Jesus’ name. Prayers spoken in faith and rooted in God’s Word release His strength into every circumstance. Declaring His name also reminds the enemy of his defeat and reinforces your victory in Christ. You don’t stand in your own strength; you stand in the authority and power of the One who has already overcome the world.

Walking in this inheritance changes how you approach life. You don’t need to live in fear or uncertainty. Whether you are seeking wisdom, facing struggles, or praying for someone else, you have access to God’s unlimited resources. Christ’s power works through you, providing peace, courage, and victory.

Live each day knowing who you are in Christ. With faith in Jesus, the authority of His name, and the inheritance He provides, you are equipped to live victoriously and shine His light into a dark world!
